The legendary 7.3L engine normally lasts for 350,000 miles or more. This is the best engine ever put in a shuttle bus! The engine runs very strong and gets the bus to 75 mph with no trouble at all. Just 71k miles on the bus and the xxxx was the last year of this engine before Ford switched to the less desirable 6.0L diesel engine.
